Bandai Spirits' Tamashii Nations division has just unveiled the latest addition to its NXEDGE STYLE line of stylized, highly articulated figures: the Shishi Ryujinmaru from the classic anime series "Super Mashin Hero Wataru"! This golden warrior is slated for a November 2022 release.
In "Super Mashin Hero Wataru," Ryujinmaru inherits the spirit of the heroic dragon god who saved the ancient world of Soukaizan. As the incarnation of the Golden Dragon, one of Soukaizan's seven dragon gods, this version features a sleeker, sharper design with elongated limbs and shoulder armor. In addition to its signature Toryuken Sword, it can undergo a "Chou-Riki Henshin" (Super Power Transformation) using the Sacred Magatama found in each world, granting it new forms and abilities.
This new NXEDGE STYLE Shishi Ryujinmaru figure captures the form achieved through the power of the Sacred God, the Lion of Light, from the first world. The design perfectly replicates the Mashin's sharp, slender armor, which is brought to life with multiple shades of gold paint to create a brilliant and substantial-looking finish.
The figure's articulation builds upon previous releases in the line, featuring multiple joints in the arms for dynamic posing. The wings on its back can also be spread open. It comes with the iconic Toryuken Sword for recreating battle stances, and even includes a powerful beam effect part to display its ultimate attack, the "Super Power Lion Light Dragon Fist"!
