Bandai Candy has officially announced the second wave of its Kamen Rider-themed head display candy toy line, "Kamen Rider Mask History (仮面ライダーマスクヒストリー)", with a release scheduled for September 2022.
First launched in late 2021, the "Kamen Rider Mask History" series revives the spirit of past, discontinued candy toy lines like "Kamen Rider Mask Collection" and "Kamen Rider Kamen no Sekai (Mask World)," but in a more compact form factor. Utilizing digital sculpting and rich paint applications, the line faithfully reproduces the intricate helmet designs of legendary Riders. The compound eyes are crafted from translucent parts for enhanced realism, and each bust includes a premium-looking black and gold display stand complete with a nameplate.
"Kamen Rider Mask History 2" will feature a lineup of 10 Rider heads, including Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form, Kamen Rider Faiz, Kamen Rider Faiz Axel Form, Kamen Rider Kabuto Rider Form, Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form, Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms, Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed, and from the currently airing "Kamen Rider Revice," Kamen Rider Live Bat Genome and Kamen Rider Evil Bat Genome.
