MEDICOM TOY, the renowned Japanese toy company, is set to release the latest addition to its 6-inch MAFEX action figure line: the "IRON MAN Rescue Suit (ENDGAME Ver.)" from Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," featuring Pepper Potts' iconic Rescue Armor! This highly anticipated figure is priced at 9,680 JPY and is slated for release in May 2023.
In the original comics, the Iron Man Rescue Suit was designed purely for disaster relief with no combat capabilities. However, in the MCU, Tony Stark custom-built the Mark 49 Iron Suit for Pepper Potts, integrating nanotech and advanced drone technology to give it formidable firepower. This allowed Pepper, who wasn't a seasoned fighter, to deliver an exhilarating and memorable performance in the final battle.
The MAFEX IRON MAN Rescue Suit (ENDGAME Ver.) stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating the suit's distinctive blue-purple and champagne gold color scheme from the film. It beautifully captures the feminine silhouette within its robust mechanical design, creating an elegant yet powerful contrast. The back features an opening mechanism, meticulously detailing the internal machinery of its powerful repulsor arrays. In addition to blue jet effect parts, the figure also includes two interchangeable head sculpts: one with the mask lifted to reveal Pepper Potts' face, and another fully unmasked. Both accurately capture the likeness and features of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, allowing collectors to pose the figure in a variety of dynamic and heroic stances.
