Highly popular among many Saint Seiya fans and collectors, the "Saint Cloth Myth" series from BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division is set to release Centaurus Babel (ケンタウルスバベル), one of the original "Silver Saints," in November 2022.
In the original Saint Seiya, there are 24 Silver Saints, whose status is second only to the Gold Saints, including characters like Marin and Shaina. Centaurus Babel, the Silver Saint, is a master of flame combat, capable of skillfully manipulating fire. He can effortlessly generate massive fireballs with a single hand and acts alongside Saints such as Lizard, Whale, and Hound. Tasked with eliminating Bronze Saints like Seiya, he engaged in a fierce battle with Hyoga in the original manga, where his colossal fireballs could completely evaporate Hyoga's "Diamond Dust." However, he ultimately succumbed to Hyoga. In the TV anime adaptation, with the assistance of Steel Saint Sho of the Sky, he was also defeated by Hyoga.
This Silver Saint Centaurus Babel figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. It comes with four interchangeable facial expression parts, hair parts for customization, and three interchangeable left hand parts and four interchangeable right hand parts. Furthermore, the waist armor features two distinct versions, allowing for interchangeability between the original manga and anime designs.
