[ZBrush 3D Printing Project] Warrior Jar Alexander - Elden Ring

First, here are the photos of the finished piece:

=============Divider=============

After being baptized by Hidetaka Miyazaki's "benevolence," I finally, slowly, cleared the game after two weeks. Relying on despicable outsider tactics, I successfully ascended to the throne of the Elden Lord.
During the process of being repeatedly slaughtered, you encounter a strange and clumsy jar. He is a Warrior Jar who needs the help of the Tarnished, and his name is "Iron Fist Alexander." (An Elden Ring character)

Although he isn't powerful enough, he is always on the path, hoping to become stronger. He will lend you a hand when you challenge Starscourge Radahn and will never back down when you face the Fire Giant. Even at the end of his life, he remains that same Warrior Jar—"Alexander."

First, I captured in-game model images and searched online for things like three-view diagrams of the game's 3D model.

-

Then, I started creating the Warrior Jar's basemesh using ZBrush.

Creating Alexander's "contents."
Again, the basic shape was made based on the in-game model and images.

Also featured: an extra friendly jar I made.

-

Next, I used ZBrush's Polypaint for some simple coloring and then brought it into Blender for a quick lighting render to see how it looked.

-

Then it was back to ZBrush to create the positions for the joints.

And then exported it to the 3D printer for slicing and generating supports.

-Since the model isn't very large and doesn't have many separate parts,

the printing was completed in about 6-7 hours.

After cleaning the resin off the surface and sanding down the support nubs, I sprayed it with a gray primer.

Then, I sprayed the base with a black primer.

After that, I sprayed on a mud-yellow base coat.

Then I hand-painted over it with dark brown acrylic paint.

I then lightly wiped away the dark brown paint from the raised patterns with alcohol, allowing the patterns to show through again.

Similarly,

I randomly painted some rose-colored splotches on the arms to replicate the colors on his hands.

Then, I once again used alcohol to wipe the color off the rubble on his hands.
