BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., which issues the 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE' series of Mobile Suit Gundam Shokugan figures featuring intricate structures and details at an average height of 55mm, recently announced the latest product from Model Kyoshiro, the "Perfect Gundam & Perfect Zeong Set," scheduled for release in October 2022.
This product commemorates the 40th anniversary of the manga Model Kyoshiro, created by Sensei Kouichi Yamato. It features a luxurious specification, utilizing parts from previous products and newly sculpted components, to release the Gunpla "Perfect Gundam" used by the protagonist Shiro Kyoda and the "Perfect Zeong" used by his genius rival Sakky Takeda.
The set includes the following:
＜Perfect Gundam＞
■ Perfect Gundam Main Body
■ Cute Smiling (^^) Face Head Part
■ Beam Saber & Fist Parts for Saber ×2
■ Display Stand
＜Perfect Zeong＞
■ Perfect Zeong Main Body
■ Saber & Suspension Parts
■ Fist Parts for Saber
■ Left and Right Fist Parts
■ Unarmored Upper Arm Parts & Leg Parts
■ Arm 5-Barrel Mega Particle Cannon Deployment Parts & Auxiliary Stand
■ Zeong Conversion Thruster Parts
■ Perfect Zeong Display Stand & Zeong Display Stand
The Perfect Gundam features entirely new parts, faithfully reproducing its characteristic heavy armor design and rich details. In addition to its distinctive vibrant primary colors, intricate parts such as power pipes and thruster nozzles are fully painted, recreating the details of the twin beam gun, shoulder cannons, as well as the cute smile and body markings seen in the manga!
The Perfect Zeong, on the other hand, reuses the Zeong main body from the previous #Plus01 release, incorporating new leg parts, MSV-style colors, and body markings from the manga. Through interchangeable parts, it can reproduce unarmored upper arm and thigh configurations, the original legless Zeong specifications, and the firing state of the arm's 5-barrel Mega Particle Cannon.
Furthermore, the product's outer box design will feature new illustrations drawn by Model Kyoshiro author, Sensei Kouichi Yamato, which are expected to be revealed in early October.
