Issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the 'MG (Master Grade)' series of Gundam plastic models, which incorporates the latest technology, complete part separation, and high posability, today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam F90", the "MG 1/100 Gundam F90 H-Type Mission Pack", scheduled for release in September 2022. This product will only be sold on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The F90-01 Gundam F90 is a new model developed in U.C. 0111 as part of S.N.R.I.'s "FORMULA Project" to miniaturize mobile suits. Its greatest feature is the "Mission Pack" expansion system, with numerous hard points located throughout the fuselage for quick replacement of equipment to suit mission requirements. The project currently includes at least 26 types of Mission Packs (A to Z), and even models without detailed settings in the past have been redesigned by Mr. Kunio Okawara and released as MG kits in the "F90 A to Z PROJECT".
The "Gundam F90 H-Type Mission Pack" released this time can be combined with the separately sold Gundam F90 main unit to recreate the H-Type (Hover) specifications, which feature an aerial hover system on the legs, waist, and back, allowing for high-mobility gliding on the ground. The kit uses multi-color molding in green, gray, red, and other colors to reproduce the full body armor and thrusters. The pipelines connecting the backpack and waist feature an interlocking mechanism, and the front skirt armor can be equipped with two searchlights on the left and right. Weapons include a beam pistol, a shield, and two powerful quad missile launchers mounted on both shoulders!
