Following the release of popular Nendoroid series products based on the popular game Kirby, such as "Kirby" and "Ice Kirby," GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan, which has over a thousand popular products in its lineup, is now set to release the limited edition "Nendoroid Kirby 30th Anniversary Edition" commemorative item! The suggested retail price is 5,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2023.
In Nintendo's classic game Kirby, the protagonist "Kirby" is a pink, unidentified creature approximately thirty centimeters tall, with a simple, round, and plump physique. He is a glutton who loves to eat, possessing a powerful inhaling ability that allows him to swallow enemies and replicate their special abilities, performing various moves. This image of being able to "eat anything" contrasted with his adorable appearance has earned him the nickname "Pink Demon"!
To commemorate the game's 30th anniversary, the "Nendoroid Kirby 30th Anniversary Edition" commemorative item stands approximately 8 cm tall and appears as a limited edition set! It faithfully recreates Kirby's pink spherical features, utilizing magnets in various places for unrestricted posing. It comes with four interchangeable expressions: a "Sparkle Face" with glistening eyes, a "Dizzy Face" with swirling eyes, a "Slightly Retro Face" with nostalgic small eyes, and an adorable "Panicked Face" with wide-open eyes! Accessories include a "Travel Bag," "Friend Heart," "Baked Sweet Potato," and a shimmering "Star Rod" with a matte pearl finish, among other abundant items. Enjoy recreating classic and nostalgic scenes from the game!
