MEGAHOUSE, a Japanese toy company, today announced the latest additions to its original posable figure series 『Desktop Army』: the 「B-121s Sylphy II Composite Weapon Set」 and 「B-121s Sylphy II MODE-B Composite Weapon Set」, both scheduled for release in late November 2022.
The 「Sylphy II」 and 「Sylphy II MODE-B」 figures in both products are identical to the versions released in 2019. Sylphy, the iconic guardian character of the Desktop Army series, features a new body sculpt with an articulated waist. Both sets include newly sculpted face parts: Sylphy II comes with a 「smiling face」 and a 「sleepy face」, while Sylphy II MODE-B includes a 「surprised face」 and a 「speechless face」.
Beyond the base figures, both products are standalone releases that include the two weapon sets from the 2019 version. The only difference between 「Sylphy II」 and 「Sylphy II MODE-B」 is their molded color. They come with three interchangeable cat tails and two angel-themed weapons: 「Gauntlets」 and 「Gun Shields」. These two weapons can further combine to form the 「Archangel Mode」.
