American collectible manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles' "Premium Format Figure" series recently unveiled its latest product from MARVEL comics: the "Captain Marvel" full body statue! Expected to ship from May to August 2023.
The current Captain Marvel's real name is "Carol Danvers." When an enemy of the original Captain Marvel, "Mar-Vell," came to Earth and abducted Carol, a psychic device accidentally exploded during the process, causing a part of Mar-Vell's physical structure to merge with Carol. As a result, Carol gained incredible powers, not only the ability to fly but also superhuman speed and strength. Carol later transformed into "Ms. Marvel" and joined the Avengers, eventually inheriting the mantle of Captain Marvel after Mar-Vell's death, becoming the second Captain Marvel.
This piece stands approximately 60.3 cm tall, cleverly utilizing Photon Energy effects to depict Captain Marvel's flying pose. This not only conveys immense power but also clearly communicates the character's abilities. The figure itself features flowing golden hair, and the classic red and blue form-fitting battle suit not only meticulously sculpts the textures but also accentuates her captivating physique. The star emblem on her chest and the dynamic red belt are faithfully recreated. The photon energy on both sides of Carol and the shattered rock base, damaged by a powerful impact, are all finished with gradient paintwork, and the bursting flames add even more tension and dynamism to the overall presentation!
