Japanese company BROCCOLI (株式会社ブロッコリー) is scheduled to release a 1/7 scale figure of the popular female character "May" (メイ) from the popular fighting video game "Guilty Gear" in December 2022!
Fans of 2D fighting games are undoubtedly familiar with "Guilty Gear," developed by Arc System Works. Since its debut on the original PlayStation console, the series has garnered significant player support with its unique style, exaggerated combat feel, fluid combos, and anime-quality graphics. Over the past two decades, numerous titles have been released, with the latest being "Guilty Gear -Strive-," launched in June 2021.
May is also considered an original veteran character in the series. As part of an air pirate group, she wields a giant anchor as her weapon and can summon her friendly dolphins to assist her in battle. This 1/7 scale figure by BROCCOLI is based on May's design from the latest "Guilty Gear -Strive-," departing from her previous workwear-like attire. This time, May appears in a long-sleeved hoodie paired with black shorts.
