BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan (candy toy) division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., following the release of the first wave of the Kamen Rider KABUTO 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' series in July, recently announced the second wave, "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider KABUTO 02," featuring 5 new Riders, scheduled for release in October 2022.
The Rider figures in the 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' Shokugan series stand approximately 10 cm tall, boasting intricate sculpting and articulation, with some parts pre-painted. The products are divided into two types: body sets and armor sets. Once collected, they can be assembled to form the Kamen Rider's main body and its dedicated weaponry. Using the included color-correction stickers, the appearance can be further enhanced to more closely resemble their on-screen counterparts.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider KABUTO 02" lineup includes KABUTO's enhanced form, "Kamen Rider KABUTO Hyper Form," the Hell Brothers "Kamen Rider Kickhopper" and "Kamen Rider Punchhopper," the strongest form appearing only on DVD, "Kamen Rider GATACK Hyper Form," and "Kamen Rider DARK KABUTO," who is a Worm mimicking Souji Tendou.
▼ "Kamen Rider KABUTO Hyper Form" can not only equip the Perfect Zecter, a weapon formed by five Zecters combining, to recreate its sword/gun mode finishing moves, but also replicate the expanded state of its entire body when activating Hyper Clock Up through interchangeable parts.
▼ The Hell Brothers, "Kamen Rider Kickhopper" and "Kamen Rider Punchhopper," crafted with numerous new parts, can recreate the bent "Anchor Jack" state when performing their Rider Kick and Rider Punch finishing moves through interchangeable parts.
▼ The dream enhanced form, "Kamen Rider GATACK Hyper Form," faithfully reproduces its massive head sculpt. By replacing the chest parts, it can recreate the golden chest appearance when activating Hyper Clock Up.
▼ "Kamen Rider DARK KABUTO" utilizes the same parts as the previous KABUTO release, but with a calamitous, jet-black coloration. Interchangeable parts allow for the recreation of both Masked Form and Rider Form.
▼ Each Rider's parts are divided into two sections: body and armor, with a total of 10 types of products available for collection.
