Following up on their debut Tekkaman Blade figure, emerging Hong Kong toy brand SKY X STUDIO is set to release another iconic character from the classic anime "Tekkaman Blade". Get ready for the transformable action figure of D-Boy's indispensable support mecha, Pegas, scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2022.

"Tekkaman Blade" (宇宙の騎士テッカマンブレード) is a celebrated anime series from the legendary studio Tatsunoko Production, which first aired on TV Tokyo in Japan in 1992. The story centers on protagonist Takaya Aiba (nicknamed D-Boy), who is captured along with his family by the alien force known as the "Radam" and forcibly converted into a Tekkaman. Thanks to his father's intervention, D-Boy escapes before the brainwashing is complete, retaining his human consciousness but becoming an incomplete Tekkaman. He must then confront the tragic reality of fighting his own brainwashed family members, who now serve as the Radam's elite warriors, kicking off a saga of intense conflict and personal anguish.

The massive Pegas is Tekkaman Blade's dedicated support robot. Standing 2.7 meters tall and weighing 6.5 tons, it first appeared in the series as a standard work robot. After D-Boy's transformation crystal was damaged, it was repurposed and upgraded into the support unit "Mobile Soldier Pegas."
Pegas's colossal frame can store Tekkaman Blade within its chest cavity and is armed with weapons like Vulcan Cannons and a Fermion Cannon. It can also transform into a flight mode, allowing Tekkaman Blade to ride on its back for high-speed deployment, making it an incredibly versatile support unit.
This upcoming release from SKY X STUDIO stands at an impressive 33.5cm tall. Just like its anime counterpart, its body can open up to dock with the SKY X STUDIO Tekkaman Blade figure (sold separately).
The figure also faithfully replicates the transformation feature, allowing fans to recreate the iconic scenes of Tekkaman Blade riding atop it. A signature of the SKY X STUDIO brand is the battle-damaged look, and this Pegas figure includes swappable armor parts to display it in a weathered, combat-worn state, making for a feature-packed collectible.
