The giant-sized toy series "Gigantic Series" (ギガンティックシリーズ), developed and produced by Japanese toy manufacturer PLEX and distributed by X-PLUS, has a new 《Dragon Ball Z》 character product! This time, the villain from the theatrical film, "Turles" (ターレス), will be released! Scheduled for October 2022.
Turles first appeared as a villain in the 1990 Dragon Ball theatrical film 《Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might》 (ドラゴンボールZ 地球まるごと超決戦). His appearance closely resembles Goku's, but his personality is vastly different, being extremely sinister and despicable. He is one of the Saiyans who survived Frieza's destruction of Planet Vegeta, a low-class warrior who enhances his combat power by consuming the fruit of the Tree of Might, which, however, drains the life from planets. During his final battle on Earth against Goku and the Z Fighters, although he initially overpowered Goku's Kaio-ken x10, he was ultimately annihilated by Goku's Spirit Bomb.
This Turles figure released by X-PLUS maintains the series' consistent impressive height, standing approximately 43 cm tall. Turles is clad in a gray-toned Saiyan battle suit, holding a fruit from the Tree of Might in his left hand, while his right hand is open as if preparing to unleash a ki blast. His facial expression reveals an evil smirk, and the scouter (battle power detector) worn on his left eye can be freely attached and detached. Dragon Ball fans are encouraged to check it out.
