Outriders are a specialized Space Marine unit, with such mounted assault bike (also known as Space Marine Bikes or Combat Bikes) units having existed since the Great Crusade. The Assault Bike is an extremely powerful vehicle, capable of carrying fully armed Space Marines at super-high speeds while maintaining sufficient responsiveness to flexibly navigate various deadly situations on the battlefield. Legend has it that experienced Space Marine Outriders can ride their Assault Bikes through solid rockcrete walls unscathed.
Outriders typically operate in bike squads of eight vehicles, mostly used for rapid assaults, intelligence gathering, infiltration, and reconnaissance missions. When Assault Bikes are deployed in attack missions, they strike enemies at incredibly high speeds, tearing through enemy forces with an unstoppable, shocking impact. Before the enemy can regroup to defend, the Outriders will turn and attack again from an unexpected direction. The tactical charge of Outriders is often likened to thunder; by the time the enemy hears the roar of the bikes, they are already dead.
Outriders will be released in two variants: "Ultramarines" and "Black Templars", with a corresponding rider also being released simultaneously. Both the bike and the rider can be purchased separately. Aside from the Chapter paint scheme and different decorations on the twin-linked boltgun, the design of the Assault Bike and its equipped weaponry (bolt pistol and chainsword) are identical. Warhammer fans looking to expand their complete forces should not miss out on this cool and powerful unit!
