Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby recently officially announced their new combining robot toy series 'UNITROBORN (ユニトロボーン)', suitable for children aged 3 and up. The first wave, consisting of 7 items, will be released on July 23, 2022.
UNITROBORN is a brand new original toy series that inherits the legacy of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who came to Earth from space. To protect Earth's peace, they can use their songs to instantly combine any nearby objects of the same color into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... all sorts of imaginative combinations can merge into powerful robots to defeat the mysterious enemies causing chaos!
The toy line will feature "UTA-ZO," which can play super catchy combination songs, various lines, and sound effects, along with 6 types of UNITROBO that combine objects of the same color but are difficult to associate, such as "Apple Lobster," "Taxi Tree," "Bulldozer Burger," "Beetle Steam Train," "Plane Eraser," and "Shark Vending Machine." While maintaining their original object forms, they also contain clever transformation and combination mechanisms, allowing them to merge into unexpected robot forms!
