The strongest three-plus-two guardian combination reappears! Following the release of several Super Sentai series products, BANDAI CANDY's Super Sentai hero candy toy action figure series, "SHODO SUPER", is set to release another action figure candy toy product from the Sentai series 《Choujuu Sentai Liveman》（超獣戦隊ライブマン） in December 2022!
《Choujuu Sentai Liveman》was produced by Toei Japan and began airing in 1988. The 12th installment in the "Super Sentai Series," it features an animal theme. This work primarily emphasizes a scientific war between good and evil, and it was the first to feature three initial members with two additional members joining later. It also marked the first "Super Combination" in Super Sentai history (a new robot formed by combining the primary robot and a secondary robot). Furthermore, this work was the last Sentai series released during the Showa era.
This SHODO SUPER Choujuu Sentai Liveman set, released by BANDAI CANDY, includes action figures of all five members: the initial three – Red Falcon, Yellow Lion, and Blue Dolphin – as well as the later additions, Black Bison and Green Sai. Thanks to the series' excellent multi-joint articulation, various poses from the original work can be recreated.
Regarding accessories, all five figures come with 7 to 8 sets of interchangeable hand parts, allowing for more dynamic posing. For weapon accessories, there is the five-member combined weapon "Choujuu Rendo Bazooka" (with a stand), the "Triple Bazooka" for Red, Yellow, and Blue, as well as individual weapons like the Falcon Sword, Lion Punch, and the common sidearm, the Live Blaster. The content is quite rich.
