Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, today announced that the latest product from their popular articulated figure series "figma," "Mejiro McQueen" from "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," is scheduled for release in January 2023.
"Mejiro McQueen," who was active in the second season of the "Uma Musume" anime and showcased a deep friendship and rivalry with Tokai Teio, hails from the prestigious "Mejiro Family." She possesses the elegant demeanor and confidence of a noble young lady. Her stamina is astonishing, and she excels in long-distance races, earning her the title "Peerless Stayer." She vows to conquer the "Tenno Sho," a race of special significance to the Mejiro family. However, McQueen has a tendency to gain weight easily and often finds it hard to resist the temptation of sweets, putting considerable effort into managing her weight.
The "figma Mejiro McQueen" figure is crafted in her racing outfit, presenting the elegant and adorable Mejiro McQueen with articulated specifications. It features her classic ruffled design and black base with gold trim. Various joints, including her long hair and tail, utilize figma's original joint parts for flexible articulation. Key areas are made with soft materials to minimize interference with posing, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic running poses and serious singing and dancing poses on stage.
Three interchangeable face plates are included: a "calm face," a "smiling face," and a "feigning ignorance face," capturing McQueen's sometimes dignified, sometimes girlishly cute personality. Accessories include a "dash effect" for running scenes and a "microphone," essential for the post-race WINNING LIVE!
