From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the transforming alloy toy "DX Chogokin" series, following Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann's Unit) and Super Pack Parts Set, today announced the latest product from "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!", the "VF-31AX Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann's Unit) Armored Parts Expansion Set", scheduled for release in December 2022.
This product is an armored parts expansion set for the VF-31AX Kairos Plus series units, featuring a blue and white color scheme and abundant aircraft markings. It is compatible with the separately sold protagonist unit Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann's Unit). The contents include numerous additional armor pieces, Gatling guns, twin-barreled beam cannons, additional thrusters, and a large number of missile pods located throughout the aircraft, allowing for the cool heavy-armored form with overwhelming firepower seen in the film.
Once all parts are attached, it can be used with the VF-31AX Kairos Plus main unit's three-stage transformation mechanism. The heavy-armored styling can be displayed in FIGHTER, GERWALK, and BATTROID forms. The missile pods located throughout the aircraft can all open their hatches, revealing precisely detailed missiles inside, allowing for the powerful scene of preparing for a full missile launch to be recreated!
