BANDAI CANDY, the popular candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., is set to release the third installment of its popular Gundam-themed candy toy series, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," in October 2022: "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA03" (機動戦士ガンダム GフレームFA 03)!
Originating from the "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME" series, the new spin-off series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" began its release in February 2022. The "FA" stands for Full Armor, indicating improved armor for the biceps and rear thigh sections, adopting a more encompassing specification. The armor and frame are now more secure and less prone to detachment, while still allowing the frame to be assembled and displayed independently.
This FA03 installment features four mobile suits: making its debut is the "Shining Gundam," piloted by protagonist Domon Kasshu from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam"; the Zaku II Kai, piloted by protagonist Bernie from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket"; the GM Custom from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory"; and the Z Gundam, which previously appeared in G-FRAME 02 and returns with new parts and weapons.
Additionally, it's worth noting that the retail price for this series will be adjusted from the original 590 JPY to 680 JPY (excluding tax), starting with this release.
