T-ARTS, the popular gashapon brand under the renowned Japanese toy company TakaraTomy, is launching its latest "Alien - Defomaster Character Collection" gashapon series, themed after 20th Century Studios' classic sci-fi film 'Alien'. There are five types in total, with a reference price of 400 JPY per capsule. It is scheduled to be released in late July 2022.
The "T-ARTS Alien - Defomaster Figure Collection" gashapon series miniaturizes the alien lifeforms from the film with high quality, featuring the most iconic Alien forms from the first movie: the "Alien A" with a translucent head, "Alien B" ejecting its inner jaw, "Alien (Chestburster)", as well as "Ellen Ripley", and the ill-fated astronaut "Kane & Facehugger + Alien Egg" – a luxurious lineup of five types. Despite their compact, palm-sized dimensions, they boast exquisite paintwork and intricate sculpting, and even feature simple articulation in the arms and waist, demonstrating remarkable dedication! Furthermore, each gashapon comes with bonus parts that can be assembled to form the derelict spacecraft on LV-426, recreating a famous scene from the movie.
