GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the latest limited product in its assembly model series『Chitocerium』: "chitocerium nightmare XCIX-albere & C-efer". It is scheduled to go on sale starting August 6, 2022, at the GOODSMILE Online Shop and during the two-day 'Smile Fest 2022' event.
The 『Chitocerium』 series is a beautiful girl assembly model line jointly produced by GOOD SMILE COMPANY, Japanese illustrator 'huke', and 'Masaki Apsy', the sculptor who designed and developed figma series joints and the base bodies for 'Frame Arms Girl' and 'Megami Device'. At first glance, it resembles the popular "mecha musume" theme currently trending in the industry, but its fundamental design is completely different, featuring a strong fantasy style. In this fantasy realm, they are known as "fragments," existing like fairies, born in Chitocerium and guarding this realm. Although they possess a humanoid appearance, they are not human. Their eyes glow with a mysterious luster, and only those authorized by them are qualified to possess them.
However, this release of "chitocerium nightmare XCIX-albere & C-efer" presents a summer, watermelon, and zombie theme that deviates from previous styles! It depicts albere and efer's fleeting summer night's dream. Based on the previously released '>standard edition kit, the molding colors for albere and efer have been changed to a purple, gray, and green palette reminiscent of zombie movies. It also includes normal faces, smiling faces, and zombie faces, as well as newly produced accessories such as a baseball bat, chainsaw, terrifying watermelon, and bloodstain decals. You can use these two cute little lolis to recreate familiar scenes from B-grade horror films!
