Japanese capsule toy brand YELL (エール), known for its diverse themes and adorable, amusing creations, will release a new gashapon series in October 2022 that can melt even the steely hearts of tough guys: the "Forest Peacekeeping Squad Acorn Tank" (森の平和を守り隊 どんぐりタンク)!
The "Acorn Tanks," launched with the theme of protecting forest peace, feature ultra-miniature chipmunks (シマリス), Ezo flying squirrels (エゾモモンガ), and Ezo squirrels (エゾリス) as their drivers. The tanks themselves fully leverage their natural environment, crafted from various colored acorns to create designs equipped with single-barrel cannons, acorn missiles, and twin cannons. What's truly fantastic is the hinged lid design on top of the acorns, allowing these rodent soldiers to pop their heads out for some adorable charm or close up for a rapid advance. This gashapon series is absolutely unbeatable for outdoor photoshoots, highly recommended to all toy enthusiasts!
The "Forest Peacekeeping Squad Acorn Tank" series has 6 styles to collect:
1. Chipmunk & Single Cannon / シマリス＆単装砲
2. Ezo Flying Squirrel (Gray) & Single Cannon / エゾモモンガ（グレー）＆単装砲
3. Black Squirrel & Acorn Missile / 黒リス＆どんぐりミサイル
