The 'MODEROID' assembly model series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced the latest products from the anime《Brain Powerd》: "Grand Cher Standard Type," "Grand Cher Quincie Type," and "Grand Cher Jonathan Type," all scheduled for release in December 2022.
In《Brain Powerd》, ANTIBODYs are large, robot-shaped lifeforms reconfigured from metal particles. They possess characteristics such as slow recovery from minor injuries, self-awareness, and distinct personalities among different individuals. Pilots do not directly control them but rather drive ANTIBODYs into battle through physical interaction like encouragement and caressing. The ANTIBODYs used by the protagonist's faction are called "BRAIN POWERED," while those utilized by the antagonist faction, Reclaimer, are known as "Grand Cher."
This marks the first time Grand Cher has been commercialized as an assembly model. The kit comprises multi-color molded parts and pre-painted parts, standing approximately 15 cm tall upon completion. With the included color-correction stickers, it closely replicates its appearance in the show. Continuing the articulated joint design of the ANTIBODY series, new parts are used to create the unique forms and armaments of the three Grand Cher specifications.
・ Grand Cher Standard Type: Accessories include an Extend Sword, a Missile Launcher, and two types of clear-part blade hilt effects.
・ Grand Cher Quincie Type: This is Quincie's dedicated machine specification with red armor. The left leg can be replaced with a prosthetic limb state. Armaments include an Extend Sword and two types of clear-part blade hilt effects.
・ Grand Cher Jonathan Type: This is Jonathan's dedicated machine specification with dark green armor. The left arm can be replaced with a prosthetic limb state.
