Following the popular "DX Don Onitaijin", Bandai Toy Company Japan has once again announced the second robot from Toei's latest Super Sentai series, "Avataro Sentai Donbrothers", the "DX Toradragonjin ", scheduled for release on August 27, 2022.
The Avataro Sentai's second robot, "Toradragonjin", set to appear in future episodes, is a giant robot formed by the combination of the dragon-type mechanical being Don Robot Goku and the tiger-type mechanical being Don Robot Bolt. Don Robot Bolt transforms from tiger mode into robot mode, then combines with Don Robot Goku, which transforms into an exoskeleton armor. These two robots correspond to the golden warrior Don Dragon Goku, transformed by Momoi Jiro, and the silver warrior Don Tiger Bolt after a form change. But why isn't Don Robot Bolt silver, but purple like Don Murasame Shark?
Once combined, the "DX Toradragonjin" boasts an impressive 34 cm large size and rich, intricate detailing. Don Robot Goku's head and chest feature electroplating for a brilliant golden finish. The unique combination and transformation mechanisms of both robots are also perfectly reproduced. During combination, Don Robot Bolt features a mechanism called "Explode! Projectile Gimmick!" which allows its entire head to launch off, a rather amusing design for children. Furthermore, Toradragonjin's arms and legs are equipped with articulated joints, allowing for dynamic poses seen in the show.
