The latest series of classic competitive toy Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, released by Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, will collaborate with Sanrio's flagship character Hello Kitty to launch the dream collaboration Beyblade new product "B-00 Astral Hello Kitty.Ov. R ’-0", scheduled for official release on September 17, 2022.
This product is launched to commemorate Hello Kitty's role as a Beyblade ambassador. It is a modified version of the previously released B-188 Astral Spriggan. Not only is the DB Core's design replaced with Hello Kitty's face, but the color scheme of all parts is also designed according to Hello Kitty's outfit, such as the red and white Blade, the yellow-painted Ov Disk, and the blue-painted R' Driver. Its appearance is truly adorable.
Of course, it still possesses considerable strength in actual battles. The Blade can be assembled in reverse, changing between a right-spin mode with enhanced metallic attack or a left-spin mode with rubber for absorbing attacks. The Ov Disk and R' Driver also provide excellent durability.
Furthermore, on August 5, 2022, TAKARA TOMY and Sanrio will jointly hold the first Beyblade tournament, "Hello Kitty Cup", at Sanrio Puroland. In addition to a knockout tournament with up to 108 participants, the venue will also feature a Hello Kitty X Beyblade event stage, a Beyblade free battle zone, a merchandise sales area, and other rich content, allowing more fans to come and enjoy. The Hello Kitty collaboration Beyblade 'Astral Hello Kitty.Ov. R ’-0' introduced here will also be available for pre-sale on that day!
