The highly popular "Super Action Statue" movable figure series, produced by Japan's MEDICOS ENTERTAINMENT, has finally officially announced the general sale details for "Super Action Statue Souther"! This comes after the announcement of the lottery sale information for the "WF 2022 [Summer]" release, based on the classic fighting manga "Fist of the North Star". The suggested retail price is 9,460 JPY, with an estimated release in November 2022.
The popular character Holy Emperor Souther (サウザー) from "Fist of the North Star" is the General Star of the Nanto Roku Seiken (Six Holy Fists of Nanto). He was adopted by Ouga, the previous successor of Nanto Hōō Ken (South Star Phoenix Fist), and grew up under Ouga's care and training, possessing formidable strength. However, after killing his master Ouga to become the successor of Nanto Hōō Ken, he resolved to abandon emotion and become an emperor without love. To achieve his ambition of conquering the chaotic world, he oppressed local residents, kidnapped children, and forced them to construct the Holy Emperor's Cross Mausoleum, thus incurring the enmity of Shu, the Nanto Star of Benevolence.
The "Super Action Statue Souther" movable figure stands approximately 175 mm tall. Tetsuo Hara himself supervised the sculpting and coloring, pursuing ultimate aesthetic beauty! The highly articulated body perfectly recreates Souther's massive, powerful muscles, with even the veins meticulously sculpted. His majestic purple and gold armor features a high-quality metallic paint finish, enhancing his imposing presence. It includes three interchangeable face parts: a confident smile, a battle cry, and a maniacal laugh, along with a masked head sculpt. Coupled with a rich array of interchangeable hand parts, a spear, a holy sword weapon, and effect parts, you can vividly recreate techniques such as Gokusei Jujiken (Pole Star Cross Fist) and Nanto Hōō Ken Ōgi: Tenshō Jūji Hō (South Star Phoenix Fist Secret Technique: Soaring Cross Phoenix)!
