Tiny Souvenir Miniature Collection (tentative title)", featuring a total of 5 types, with each capsule priced at 400 JPY, scheduled for release in July 2022.
Japanese model master Tomoko Misumi (みすみともこ) meticulously recreates popular Japanese souvenirs such as Castella cake, Tokyo Banana, and Calbee Jagarico (Potato Fries Brothers) as miniatures using resin clay. Beyond the incredibly lifelike and exquisite craftsmanship, even the outer packaging and box details are perfectly replicated, garnering widespread acclaim and affection from netizens.
The "Tomoko Misumi Supervised! Tiny Souvenir Miniature Collection" gashapon, supervised by Tomoko Misumi, recreates her viral works: Calbee Hokkaido Jagarico (Potato Fries Brothers), Chiba Prefecture Nagomi no Komeya - Peanut Monaka, Tokyo Tamago Honpo Tamago Goma Tamago, Shogoin Yatsuhashi Sohonten Nama Yatsuhashi "Hijiri" (Red Bean Paste Yatsuhashi), and Fukuoka Prefecture Tounoudou Niwaka Senbei. This allows toy enthusiasts who cannot travel to Japan to purchase souvenirs due to the pandemic to enjoy a taste of the experience through gashapon – and even buy souvenirs for their own toys!
