Japanese toy manufacturer TAKARA TOMY recently announced the latest product in its sci-fi robot-themed transforming and combining toy series, "Diaclone": the "TREAD VERSAULTER Space Marine Ver.", scheduled for release in November 2022. This product will be sold exclusively at the official TAKARA TOMY MALL store.
The TREAD VERSAULTER is a TACTICAL MOVER enhanced for long-range dynamic capture and artillery combat mobility, abbreviated as . This unit utilizes two massive cannons mounted on its back for artillery combat, while its robot-form main body also possesses flexible mobility to engage in close-quarters combat. Furthermore, its legs can be equipped with (treads) that enhance rough terrain mobility, featuring an independent triple-track structure that allows for free adjustment of rotation speed and deployment angle, significantly boosting combat mobility.
This release of the "TREAD VERSAULTER Space Marine Ver." fundamentally adopts the specifications of the previous regular version, but changes the color scheme to a military green-based "Space Marine color scheme." The entire unit features intricate detailing and extensive articulation. Included armaments such as a handgun, cannons, missile launchers, and shields can also be freely swapped and mounted. With the ability to transform into tank, flight, and robot forms, it offers incredibly rich playability.
