BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the upcoming release of a new Shokugan product based on Cygames' highly popular game "Umamusume: Pretty Derby", titled "Umamusume Mini Character Collection 01", scheduled for September 2022.
The immensely popular multimedia project "Umamusume: Pretty Derby", spanning games, anime, manga, and more, features world-renowned racehorses anthropomorphized into beautiful girls. These girls inherit the names and souls of racehorses from another world (our real world), appearing as lovely maidens with horse ears and tails, possessing astonishing running abilities (reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h). To shine on the racetrack, the Umamusume undergo training even more rigorous than human athletes, shedding youthful sweat and tears as they strive to run their best, earning the respect and admiration of the world.
The "Umamusume Mini Character Collection 01" transforms the popular Umamusume characters from the series into adorable figures with an approximate 2-head-tall proportion. Each Umamusume stands about 5 cm tall and is uniformly depicted in their Tracen Academy uniform, with intricate details reproducing their distinctive hair and accessories. Each figure captures the unique personality of the Umamusume through their characteristic poses. The product also includes a clear display base featuring a horseshoe design. The first wave will feature 8 Umamusume, namely:
1．Special Week
2．Silence Suzuka
3．Grass Wonder
4．El Condor Pasa
5．Seiun Sky
6．Mihono Bourbon
7．Rice Shower
8．King Halo
