Released by Japan's Bandai Toys Gashapon brand, the 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series of Gashapon toys, featuring common connection points and infinite customization from 'Mobile Suit Gundam,' today unveiled prototypes for two mobile suits from 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans': "Gundam Barbatos" and "Graze." Release dates are yet to be determined.
The mobile suits revealed this time are the iconic protagonist machine from 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans,' the "Gundam Barbatos," and the mass-produced machine used by the antagonist force Gjallarhorn, the "Graze." Both units continue the MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE series' style, featuring highly detailed sculpting at a compact, approximately 6 cm tall, super-deformed size. Their limb joints, backs, and other areas feature standardized circular ports, similar to hardpoints, allowing for customization with parts from other products in the same series.

While the Gundam Barbatos prototype lacks full color painting, its armor layering and several characteristic details, such as exhaust vents and pipelines, are faithfully reproduced. Each joint also features articulation, allowing for dynamic posing with the included katana weapon.

The Graze, on the other hand, recreates its appealing military green color scheme and refined armor design, characteristic of a mass-produced unit. All joints utilize standardized articulation mechanisms. Its main rifle weapon is quite large in proportion, creating an even more imposing presence when paired with the super-deformed body.
