To commemorate AOI team's 17th championship victory in 2022, Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's transformable action figure series "VARIABLE ACTION" has announced its latest product from "Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN", the "Ogre AN-21 -Livery Edition- DX Set". The suggested retail price is 22,000 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2023!
To commemorate the Ogre's victorious moment, triumphing over the ν-Asurada in a fierce battle to claim the championship, the "VARIABLE ACTION Ogre AN-21 -Livery Edition- DX Set" is specially released. Compared to the version released in 2017, this -Livery Edition- features an overall darker and deeper paint scheme, giving the vehicle a more realistic texture and style. The rich livery patterns on the body have also been redesigned, making its appearance as cool and luxurious as a real racing car! It also features a transformation mechanism. With the DX version's additional transformation parts for "Phantom Turn Mode" and "Super Boost Mode", it can recreate the Ogre's five transformation modes: "Circuit Mode", "Aero Mode", "Boost Mode", "Phantom Turn Mode", and "Super Boost Mode". Additionally, besides the included unpainted Jotaro Kaga mini-figure, purchases made via Premium Bandai (PB) will also include 5 special photo cards as a bonus.
