Japanese company PLEX (株式会社プレックス) will release a fun product designed after the classic weapon from "Mobile Suit Gundam": the "Beam Rifle-shaped Rubber Band Gun"! The suggested retail price is 935 JPY, scheduled for release in early July 2022.
Produced by Ikeda Kogyosha, it is modeled after the RX-78-2 Gundam's Beam Rifle weapon, faithfully recreating the original's adjustable scope, grip, and other details. With a total length of approximately 225 mm, it uses beam-simulating red rubber bands (approx. 40mm diameter) as ammunition. By continuously loading rubber bands into the trigger mechanism, it can fire four shots consecutively! It also includes small standees of Char's Custom Zaku and Zeong for target practice~ Suitable for both adults and children!
