With the broadcast of the anime's fourth season, ALTER, a Japanese figure manufacturer renowned for its high quality and beloved by high-end bishoujo figure collectors, today announced the latest product from the popular light novel "OVERLORD": the "Lupusregina Beta so-bin Ver. 1/8 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in July 2023.
Lupusregina Beta is the second daughter of the "Pleiades" battle maid squad belonging to the Sorcerous Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown. She possesses outstanding beauty and appears kind, but her true nature is cruel, cunning, and sadistic. As a werewolf, she can not only wield a massive cross-shaped weapon with astonishing strength to attack but also cast healing and offensive magic.
The "Lupusregina Beta so-bin Ver. 1/8 Scale Figure" is based on an illustration by original artist so-bin-sensei. It three-dimensionalizes Lupusregina sitting on a rock pillar, faithfully recreating her alluring, mischievous smile, the rich details of her maid-style outfit modified from a nun's habit, and the massive cross weapon suspended on her back. Through meticulous painting, the figure expresses the light and shadow, gradient changes of color, and the heavy texture of metallic objects from the original artwork. Including the base, the total height reaches 28 cm, and her commanding pose exudes an impressive aura.
