AllRightsReserved collaborates for the first time with the highly influential new-generation Japanese artist KYNE to globally release KYNE's first-ever limited edition bronze sculpture, available for global lottery sale on the DDT Store starting today. This piece is the result of over three years of meticulous craftsmanship, breaking the boundaries of artistic creation to bring an extraordinarily valuable work from the world of art into everyday life.
Becoming a Highly Influential New-Generation Japanese ArtistKYNE is one of the most acclaimed young artists in recent years. Born in the 1980s in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, he was immersed in the local art scene from a young age and debuted as a graffiti artist in 2006. In just four years, KYNE established his unique style—featuring monochromatic and cool-looking women as the protagonists of his works. Unlike the typical manga style with elfin-like big eyes, tall figures, and exaggerated aesthetics, the characters penned by KYNE possess a unique charm. Their expressions and demeanor always make one want to delve deeper, like a female classmate who seems to have a story behind her.
His creations further combine anime pop art culture with elements of traditional Japanese painting (represented by famous *bijinga* paintings of beauties like geishas), establishing a unique artistic style that is highly influential in the art circle, making KYNE stand out among new-generation artists. His works have been repeatedly acclaimed at prestigious auctions, with recent transaction prices soaring to nearly HK$2.25 million (US$287,644), cementing his status as a rapidly rising new star in the art world.
Three Years of Meticulous Craftsmanship: Interpreting a Personal Style Through KYNE's First Bronze SculptureThe outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic presented unprecedented challenges for everyone. "I have always wanted to present a satisfactory sculpture. During this extraordinary period, it was difficult for us to have face-to-face conversations, and it's not easy to convey all the details of a work through photos alone. In the end, we overcame numerous difficulties and spent three years to finally complete this piece, and the result is something we are both very satisfied with," said KYNE. "Nowadays, more and more artists are turning their works into three-dimensional forms, and I also hope to bring newer creations to everyone through this method."
"We are delighted to collaborate with such an influential contemporary artist of the new generation," said SK Lam, founder of AllRightsReserved. "We are very excited to bring KYNE's first 3D bronze sculpture to life, integrating art into everyday living."
