Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE today announced the latest product in its Gundam series diorama models, the 'Realistic Model Series', from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED": the "G Structure [GS05] Archangel Hangar", scheduled for release in March 2023.
This product creates a box-shaped diorama with dimensions of H240×W295×D260 mm, depicting the hangar of the Archangel, the mothership boarded by protagonist Kira Yamato and others in the series. Each part has been realistically painted, showcasing gradient changes in light and shadow that make the object more three-dimensional. Various decal stickers are also included to enrich the scene's details, allowing even beginners new to such products to easily complete the assembly.
The hangar features mechanisms such as movable cranes and mounting racks, which can be used with separately sold BANDAI SPIRITS HG 1/144 series Gundam models. The various mounting racks are specifically designed for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam and its Aile, Sword, and Launcher Striker Packs, allowing for the display of backpacks, main weapons, and sub-weapons!
