Fellow toy collectors, do you remember the "TAMASHII POP UP SPOT Limited-Time Pop-Up Exhibition" brought to us by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toy Department, TAMASHII NATIONS, in early 2022? Back then, the event was held in Taipei's Zhongshan and Ximending districts, and later in Kaohsiung. This time, it's the turn for our friends in Central Taiwan! "TAMASHII POP UP SPOT in Taichung" kicks off today (the 8th)! And it's also a dual-venue exhibition. Today, our Toy-Venture team is heading to "Chung Yo Department Store" and "TAMASHII NATIONS Taichung SPOT" to bring you an exciting on-site report.

First, we arrived at Venue 1, located in Chung Yo Department Store, where a massive Big Mom statue can be seen from afar! On display here is a rich assortment of products from "One Piece," "Dragon Ball," "Jujutsu Kaisen," "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," and "Naruto." The lineup includes everything from the highly popular S.H.Figuarts articulated figure series and the exquisite Figuarts ZERO non-articulated statues, to the Figuarts mini series which reinterprets characters in adorable chibi proportions.

The "Dragon Ball" section features multiple articulated figures based on their designs from the animated film "Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO."
Over in the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" area, in addition to various Nichirin Swords, there is also a vast collection of Figuarts ZERO and Figuarts mini figures.

The "Jujutsu Kaisen" section showcases articulated figures of "Yuta Okkotsu" and "Satoru Gojo" from "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie." Satoru Gojo looks incredibly cool no matter how you look at him, especially when unleashing his "Hollow Technique: Purple." Also on display are various new and prototype Figuarts mini figures.
The "Naruto" section features the S.H.Figuarts figures of "Naruto" and "Sasuke," which many collectors have recently acquired, along with the other member of Team 7, "Sakura Haruno." Of course, there's also a comparison between the new and old versions of Naruto this time~ The giant Naruto statue is awesome!
After touring the various small exhibition areas, we immediately entered the merchandise section, which was fully stocked with a wide array of products. The toy collectors in Taichung are incredibly enthusiastic!

Next, we headed to Venue 2, "TAMASHII NATIONS Taichung SPOT," about a 10-minute walk from Chung Yo Department Store. In addition to showcasing many of the spectacular new items previously seen at "TAMASHII Features 2022 in TAIWAN," the absolute highlight here is the giant "Mazinger Z" statue and the display of the Soul of Chogokin "GX-105 Mazinger Z KAKUMEI SHINKA" and the "GX-25R Garada K7 & GX-26R Doublas M2" Mechanical Beast 2-pack set. Seeing these classic Mechanical Beasts make a return is truly moving!
From "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," the "ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E." series "GUNDAM AERIAL" is available for pre-order on-site~

The METAL BUILD series showcases awesome figures like the "DRAGON SCALE Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements," "GX-102 Mazinkaiser SKL," "Hi-ν Gundam," and more.
From "Elden Ring," the Figuarts mini series "Raging Wolf" and "Melina" make an adorable appearance!
The S.H.Figuarts "Zatch Bell!" figure "Zatch Bell" appears this time with Vulcan 300!
New Kamen Rider releases include the spike-covered S.H.Figuarts "Kamen Rider Revice," "Kamen Rider Demons Spider Genome," and "Kamen Rider Jeanne Cobra Genome & Lovekov Kujaku Genome."
The protagonist from "Avataro Sentai Donbrothers," "Don Momotaro."
Multiple S.H.Figuarts articulated figures from "Ronin Warriors." Touma of the Heavens' golden longbow is seriously cool!
The "Macross" section features the previously introduced "DX CHOGOKIN VF-25 Messiah Valkyrie WORLDWIDE Anniv.," and of course, all three of its FIGHTER, GERWALK, and BATTROID modes are gathered in one place! Also on display are the DX CHOGOKIN "YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie" and the HI-METAL R "VF-0S Phoenix (Roy Focker Use)."
Also on display are three S.H.Figuarts exclusive items commemorating the recent renewal and reopening of the flagship store "TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO": "Son Goku -Ultra Instinct 'Sign'-," "S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) KAMEN RIDER NEW 2 50th Anniversary Ver.," and "Alien Mefilas 55th Anniversary Ver.".
