Following the release of Optimus Prime from the "TRANSFORMERS BISHOUJO" series, a collaboration between Japanese toy company Kotobukiya and renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita, the next installment, the 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure of "Megatron" (Megatron), was officially announced today (12th)! Both a standard edition and a Kotobukiya Store exclusive deluxe edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated launch in February 2023.
Reimagined by Shunya Yamashita, "Megatron" transforms from a tyrannical mechanical king into a proud bishoujo, standing approximately 25.3 cm tall. She evokes the image of a formidable female boss who leads her subordinates with an iron fist in an office setting. Her sharp white short hair, light purple coat, mechanical-style belt, the Decepticon emblem on her short tie, and the Fusion Cannon slung over her shoulder perfectly capture Megatron's color scheme and elements. The intricate details, such as the dynamic flow of her coat, the sculpted wrinkles on her top and skirt, and the weapon's mechanisms, are exceptionally fine. Furthermore, the combination of metallic, pearlescent, and matte finishes elevates the overall sophistication, and that downward gaze is simply amazing!
