The Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series, "FigZero," has announced its latest product from the anime "ULTRAMAN": the "ULTRAMAN SUIT ZOFFY (Anime Version) 1/6 Scale Articulated Figure," with an expected release in Q4 2022.
Unlike the original live-action series' setting as the captain of the Space Garrison, the ULTRAMAN SUIT ZOFFY appearing in "ULTRAMAN" is the armor worn by Shin Hayata, the father of protagonist Shinjiro Hayata, and is also known as Ver.Z. It was improved from the earliest developed pitch-black "Prototype ULTRAMAN SUIT." Compared to the prototype, it possesses combat capabilities similar to the newer models and can fire the powerful beam technique "Spacium Ray" from the launchers mounted on its wrists.
The FigZero ULTRAMAN SUIT ZOFFY (Anime Version) is based on the anime design, stands 30.5 cm tall, and features over 40 points of articulation. It is constructed from a composite of materials including ABS, PVC, POM, die-cast, and metal parts, and finished with a highly metallic paint application, conveying the shining, robust image of the ULTRAMAN SUIT. The upper body is also equipped with an LED light-up feature, allowing the eyes and chest color timer to illuminate when activated.
For accessories, it includes 4 pairs of interchangeable hands for more varied posing: "fists," "posed hands," "relaxed hands," and "Spacium Ray firing hands." Additionally, it comes with a pair each of "Spacium Blade effect parts" and "Ultra Slash effect parts" that can be equipped on both arms, allowing for dynamic and cool battle scenes!
