YELLOW Co., Ltd. (イエロー), a Japanese apparel and general merchandise import/export seller, under its emerging gashapon brand "Yellow Group" (黃組), will launch the humorous and fun "Big Mouth Swallowing Snake" (tentative translation, ノミコンダさん) gashapon. There are a total of five designs, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per turn, and it is expected to be released in late October 2022.
The "Big Mouth Swallowing Snake" gashapon, designed by the creative product development team "Sen-gyo Mufu," is inspired by a snake's ability to swallow large prey. However, in this design of a "fictional creature that swallows everything," the snake, with its round eyes and vibrant colors, swallows: luxury cars, the Japanese National Diet Building (Kokkai-gijidō), Maneki-neko (beckoning cat), Ninomiya Kinjiro (Ninomiya Sontoku), who has the most statues in Japan, and trophies – items symbolizing money, authority, and power. The outlines of the swallowed objects can be seen through its distorted body, satisfying various human desires and maximizing the insatiable greed encapsulated by the idiom "a snake swallowing an elephant"!
