The classic alloy toy 'Chogokin' series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, announced its latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury', the 'Gundam Aerial', scheduled for release in January 2023.
In the latest anime in the Gundam series, 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury', the mobile suit piloted by protagonist Suletta Mercury is named 'Gundam Aerial'. Its appearance resembles the 'Gundam Lfrith' developed by the Vanadis Institute in the prequel. In addition to beam sabers and beam rifles, it also utilizes GUND Format technology, allowing its shield to separate into 11 GUND-Bits for use as funnels.

The 'Chogokin Gundam Aerial' stands at a height of 18 cm. It faithfully reproduces the design using various plastic materials, and also incorporates alloy parts for the joints and the golden heat sinks across its body, enhancing both the tactile feel and metallic texture. Black parts on the forehead, chest, and thighs are made of transparent material, but unfortunately, they cannot replicate the in-show lighting effects. However, the LED light-up mechanism built into the head can illuminate its green eyes.
Accessories include a dedicated display stand, beam rifle, beam sabers, and shield. Effect parts allow for recreating the beam deployment of the rifle and sabers. The shield, as per its in-show design, can separate into GUND-Bits, which can be attached to the shoulders, rear waist, and other areas for use as thrusters. However, dedicated stands for using them as funnels are not included.
