Japan's Prime 1 Studio company, under its popular statue product line "Ultimate Premium Masterline," is scheduled to release a 1/4 scale statue of the enemy character "Nemesis" from CAPCOM's horror game "Resident Evil 3 Remake" (BIO HAZARD 3: RE) between October 2023 and January 2024!
"Resident Evil 3" was originally released in 1999 on the first-generation PlayStation console. During its development, this title was initially conceived by Shinji Mikami as a spin-off utilizing assets from the second game, but it was later elevated by management to become the third main installment, resulting in a shorter overall game length. The timeline is the same as "Resident Evil 2," with the game played from the perspective of the first game's protagonist, Jill Valentine. In March 2020, a remake was released, re-imagining characters like Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis, and introducing new story elements. Compared to the "Resident Evil 2 Remake," the game content, while somewhat shorter, remains thrilling and enjoyable.
This 1/4 scale statue of Nemesis, produced by Prime 1 Studio, stands approximately 82 cm tall, faithfully recreating the character's colossal presence from the game. Dressed in a black trench coat, its upper body muscles appear highly developed, and it wears leather boots, stepping onto a ruined road base that conveys its heavy footsteps. The tentacle accessory on its hand is freely detachable, and various parts of its body are meticulously reproduced, including the chest components, the lines of its twisted facial expression, and the warning labels on its clothing.
This product is also available in two versions: a Regular Edition and a DX Deluxe Edition. The difference from the Regular Edition is that the DX Deluxe Edition includes a classic heavy weapon, the "Rocket Launcher" (ロケットランチャー), as an interchangeable accessory. With the rocket launcher accessory, equipping it to Nemesis's left hand further enhances its terrifying presence and imposing aura. It can be displayed alongside the aforementioned Jill statue, and combining the two will create an even more dynamic and rich display.
