The renowned Japanese model manufacturer Art Spirits is set to release a new exquisite figure in its Q-style figure series, "Q Collection (Qコレクション)", featuring the popular BOSS character "Artorias the Abysswalker" (深淵歩きのアルトリウス) from the famous game "Dark Souls"! Scheduled for release in April 2023.
From Software, the game company behind the recently popular "Elden Ring", has many highly acclaimed and challenging action games such as "Demon's Souls", "Dark Souls", "Bloodborne", and "Sekiro". Among these, the "Dark Souls" trilogy is considered by many players to be an outstanding work. Despite its high difficulty, the game's mysterious lore, combined with medieval and Cthulhu elements, keeps many players endlessly entertained, willing to see "YOU DIED" countless times to challenge and uncover its depths.
The enemy boss "Knight Artorias" who appears in Dark Souls is one of the four knights under Lord Gwyn, the Lord of Cinder, and possesses a ring engraved with a wolf. He made a covenant with the creatures of the Abyss, gaining the ability to traverse it, which earned him titles such as "Abyss Walker" and "Abysswalker". His signature weapon is a greatsword, which he wields with great mastery. Artorias bravely ventured to defeat Manus, Father of the Abyss, but failed, instead being consumed by the Abyss and losing his sanity.
This Artorias the Abysswalker figure from Art Spirits' Q Collection series stands approximately 13 cm tall. It faithfully recreates his iconic pose from the original game, with his left arm hanging down and his right hand holding his greatsword on his back, looking ready for battle at any moment. He certainly exudes an impressive aura, befitting one of the series' most popular bosses.
Additionally, a special limited edition of this product is available, which includes a blue effect flame base. When combined, it further enhances Artorias's powerful presence. It will be released simultaneously with the regular edition.
