Chinese toy manufacturer 52TOYS' popular "BEASTBOX" series will launch a new product, the "BB 48 DESERT ASSAULT SQUAD Meerkat Desert Assault Squad" non-scale ABS articulated transforming toy, scheduled to commence its mission in late August 2022!
The "BEASTBOX" series, which combines animals and mecha and is designed to transform into a compact cube shape, not only boasts unique designs but also allows one to enjoy the fun of transforming from a cube to an animal form in a palm-sized package, with a wide range of articulation being another major selling point. This time, the "BB 48 DESERT ASSAULT SQUAD Meerkat Desert Assault Squad" features meerkats, small diurnal animals that live in groups in the African desert, as its protagonists. It adopts a four-in-one transformation design and cleverly recreates the meerkats' elongated standing posture when on alert – super cute!
Each of the four meerkats has cardinal direction (East, West, North, South) markings on its chest, and a small shield on its chest that can be stored or displayed. The holes on their backs can accommodate reconnaissance backpack parts, and the reconnaissance packs can also transform into missile launchers. Coupled with the wrist cannons on their small hands, the combat power of this Desert Assault Squad should not be underestimated!
