BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product in its Kamen Rider candy toy series, "SO-DO CHRONICLE", "Kamen Rider 555 Vol. 1", scheduled for release in December 2022.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE" candy toy series features Rider figures approximately 10 cm tall, boasting intricate sculpting and articulation, with some parts pre-painted. The products are divided into two types: body sets and armor sets. Once collected, they can be combined to form the Kamen Rider main body and its dedicated weaponry. The included color-correction stickers further enhance the appearance to closely match the in-show look.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider 555 Vol. 1" features a total of 8 types of products. The Rider lineup includes three articulated figures: Kamen Rider FAIZ, Kamen Rider FAIZ Accel Form, and Kamen Rider KAIXA. By collecting both the body and armor parts, you can complete the figures. The sculpting meticulously recreates the mechanical armor, the various equipment on the belts, and the intricate mechanical details of the Accel Form's chest armor when deployed.
The other 2 types are expansion parts sets corresponding to FAIZ and KAIXA, featuring various weapons and special move effects. These include a diverse array of dedicated equipment such as the energy sword Faiz Edge and Kaixa Blaygun, as well as effect parts for FAIZ's special move "Crimson Smash" and KAIXA's special move "Gold Smash". When combined with the highly articulated Rider figures, these allow for the recreation of cool Rider Kick scenes!
