GASHAPON, the capsule toy brand from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced today the latest product from its 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series of Mobile Suit Gundam capsule toys, known for their common connection points and infinite customization: the "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX42 Quin Mantha," originating from "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ," scheduled for release in December 2022.
The NZ-000 Quin Mantha is a mobile suit piloted by the Cyber Newtype Ple-Two during the First Neo Zeon War in Universal Century 0088, when Neo Zeon general Glemy Toto attempted to seize power, leading to an internal conflict. This mobile suit was constructed using a captured Psyco Gundam Mk-II combined with the latest Neo Zeon technology. It boasts a colossal height of 40 meters, equipped with 9 MEGA Particle Cannons throughout its body and as many as 30 funnels. When piloted by a highly capable Cyber Newtype, it can instantly sweep away numerous targets on the battlefield.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX42 Quin Mantha" stands at a formidable 12 cm tall, significantly larger than standard series mobile suits. Its SD proportion faithfully reproduces the massive shoulders and backpack, the smooth armor curves, the MEGA particle cannon emitters, and the numerous funnels located throughout its body. Both shoulders and limbs feature articulated joints, allowing for dynamic posing with the two included large beam sabers. Furthermore, it comes with a transparent display stand and 10 funnel firing effects, enabling the recreation of the funnels deploying in a radial pattern.
