Japanese toy manufacturer "Kaiyodo" and genius sculptor "Takayuki Takeya" have collaborated to create the "TAKEYA-Shiki Jizai Okimono" action figure series. Following the release of the great nation of Tolmekia's Armored Soldier (Kushana's Royal Guard Ver.), Armored Soldier (Emperor's Royal Guard Ver.), and several giant land-striding Toriuma that can be paired with them, new troop types are now arriving! "Tolmekian Assault Soldier" and "Tolmekian Naval Soldier" have made their appearance at "Wonder Festival 2022 [Summer]".
The story of "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" depicts the decline of a once-flourishing industrial civilization after the "Seven Days of Fire" war. The surface of the earth is covered with toxic substances, and the advanced technological systems of the past are on the verge of collapse. Humans, now living in the late Pottery Age, must not only face the threats of the "Fungi Forest" and colossal insects but also a series of wars instigated by ambitious individuals. The protagonist of the story, Princess Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, is a kind yet formidable young woman. She is not only an excellent "Wind Rider" but also deeply cares for insects. She fights to protect the Valley of the Wind, eventually embarking on an epic journey to stop the war and explore the world.
Although the prototypes revealed are currently unpainted and under supervision, they fully showcase the intricate details of the Tolmekian "Assault Soldier" and "Naval Soldier" designs. These include their distinctive helmets and masks, loose fabric uniforms, gloves, utility belts equipped with multiple small pouches, and bullet pouches on both sides of the chest. Accessories include a mobile rifle and a sword. Both of these action figures are scheduled for release in December 2022, and we eagerly await their full announcement. For fans of "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," the opportunity to collect more new Tolmekian troop types to play with and experience even richer elements of the "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" worldview is truly exciting!
