This is a toy whose merits can only be truly appreciated through play. If it's just standing still, its appearance might seem similar to the ROBOT SPIRITS Hyakushiki. However, the play experience is the key. In the image above, the left is ROBOT SPIRITS Hyakushiki, and the right is METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Hyakushiki-Kai Mass Production Type.
Excellent Articulation, Joints with Ideal Tightness
This is extremely important. When it's just displayed, there's no particular feeling, and you can't really tell, but during play, what everyone cares about most are the joints. If the joints are too tight, it feels like the toy is playing you; if they're too loose, the fun quickly fades. This Hyakushiki-Kai Mass Production Type has ideal joint tightness, making it very comfortable to handle.
Furthermore, accessories don't easily fall off when attached to the body. Whether it's hanging weapons or mounting it on a display stand, everything is very secure.
Weapon Accessories Made with Sincerity
There aren't many weapons: just two shotguns, one beam rifle, two swords, and one shoulder-mounted machine cannon. The primary look of this Hyakushiki-Kai Mass Production Type is achieved by hanging the two shotguns on its back, which gives it a very imposing presence.
First, the beam rifle's magazine can be removed, and its grip can be folded. Additionally, by swapping parts, the beam rifle can be mounted on the back. I think the beam rifle mounted on the back looks quite good.
As for the shotgun, its grip can also be folded. While the magazine on the back cannot be removed, it is extendable. When retracted, it hangs on the back; when held in hand, the barrel can be extended to an appropriate length, offering two ways to hold the weapon during play.
The beam sabers are as usual, still good to handle and play with.
Regarding the machine cannon, it is quite detailed in its construction. However, during play, it's inevitable that it will "interfere" with other parts. If the shotguns are mounted on the back, the shoulder movement will frequently bump into the machine cannon.
Overall, the entire toy is very well-made, with few shortcomings or flaws. It comes highly recommended!
