World-renowned film and television special effects company "WETA Workshop"'s vinyl figure series "Mini Epics" recently announced its latest products from the fantasy epic "The Lord of the Rings", featuring "Sméagol", "Treebeard", "Frodo", and a limited edition of the "Witch-king of Angmar"! Shipping is expected in Q1 2023.
Compared to WETA's statue products that pursue exquisite detail and outstanding sculpting, the chibi-style MINI EPICS figures are incredibly cute and unique! While retaining each character's distinct traits, they reinterpret the appearance of these popular characters with unique body proportions and exaggerated lines. The expressions, weapon accessories, costumes, and more are all meticulously detailed. In this wave of MINI EPICS releases, aside from "Treebeard" from Fangorn Forest, the other three figures reappear with new designs. The figure that uses the already deformed "Gollum" form to express the original Hobbit "Sméagol" personality is truly fascinating, and "Frodo," holding the glowing blue sword "Sting" and covered in mud, also exudes the spirit of an adventurer.
