Hong Kong-based designer toy brand BigBoysToys, under its "Bulkyz Collection" series which reinterprets characters with powerful physiques, has previously released "Ryu", "Ken", "M. Bison", and "Guile" from the fighting video game "Street Fighter". Now, the fifth character, the one-eyed Muay Thai Emperor "Sagat", makes his grand debut!
"Sagat," also known as the Emperor of Muay Thai and the Invincible Tiger, was determined to seek revenge after his defeat by "Ryu." In pursuit of greater power, he even joined the evil organization Shadaloo (シャドルー) led by "M. Bison." However, in the storyline of the "Street Fighter ZERO" series, Sagat began to change. He gradually realized that true strength cannot be achieved through hatred alone; a true strong person is one who is not swayed by victory or defeat, but is solely dedicated to pursuing a higher realm. No longer fixated on the title of Emperor, Sagat resolved to rededicate himself to training, aiming to surpass his rival, Ryu, with Muay Thai.
The "Bulkyz Collection Sagat" stands approximately 30 cm tall. This one-eyed Invincible Tiger is reinterpreted in the series' distinctive style of robust physique and blocky muscle lines, and features a stunning 2D visual effect paint application. The overall design faithfully reproduces his signature single eye, the massive scar on his chest, and his red and blue shorts. With posable head and arms, he can strike powerful and impactful poses!
